same here Shell, people are just too busy to care about anything and anyone else. its really not fair
When life hands you lemons, make grape juice then sit back and watch as the world wonders how you did it.
Cleaning and scrubbing can wait ‘til tomorrow For babies grow up we've learnt to our sorrow, So quiet down cobwebs Dust go to sleep I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep
i really dont like seeing kids sat really close to the TV, my OH nephew stands just 2 feet away from my 50inch TV, im like seriously?? he has to move his head around to see everything! ive just seen a pic on my facebook of a little boy just over one sat just feet away from a tv probably not far off 50inch! i also dislike seeing children who are totally capable of walking, yet they are been pushed around in a pram at 5 year old

Eh.. I'm one of those overly nice people who lets everyone go first lol so.. park in the spot I wanted, and I'll let you go first if we both reached a stop sign at a similar time.
I tell you one that has bugged me for ages. Every week I have a shop bought garlic baguette. Oddly enough, I prefer the cheap ones, and they come with advice on cooking and portion sizes.
These baguettes tell you that it makes four servings.
Fair enough?
Every single baguette I have ever bought has said these are four portions. Every single baguette I have ever bought had been cut into 9 slices.
How do you share that among four people?

Documentary makers, who constantly remind you of what you saw earlier in the show.
I sit there for 60 minutes, and only get 30 minutes of info.
OH sometimes watches air crash investigation on discovery channel... Im shocked at how many ways they can rework the same sentence..Its s one hour show that could easily be condensed into 15 mons if they stopped repeating themselves.
Parents who yell at their innocent 3 year old toddlers and older children.
I know what you mean as some do continually with little reason but, if you ever become a teacher or classroom assistant at a junior school, at first, you may likely be quaking in terror at times. I came across it in any schools while I was working in the classroom.

Children are by no means always angelic BUT they are innocent and learn their adult behaviour from their parents. To hurt and upset a 3 year old child fills me with rage: the poor kid doesn't know what he/she has done. That parent is not likely to raise a happy child.
I've seen parents - in a way - "bully" their children. So I guess sometimes those children learn to do the same themselves. BUT people will be people and maybe those parents are doing something right? Maybe I haven't seen them in their home with the children being cared for and the suchlike.
But I do not agree with screaming abuse at a child.

In truth, sometimes you teach your children how not to parent.
It's not a technique I have ever chosen, but I am sure I am not perfect, and I hope they learned from that.

My kids have been the motivating factor for me to mature and become kinder in how I approach people. However, they've also taught me to find the limits and state them before they're crossed. So, firm but kind is what I aim for, and hopefully achieve most days!
It hurts me now to hear how much parents snap at their kids and are unkind. Sigh.

That is just how you do it.
I used to come home from work and my ex would announce that someone was now grounded for six months.
It used to do my head in, as I had to sort it out.
