So 5 week ago you should remember me telling you all abot someone driving a van and crashing into my OH while he was on his quad.
Well last week i woke up as normal, unlocked my door and found that someone had stolen my OHs quad.. thing is, i have a 6ft fence, 2 locks on the gate (only one accessible) and the quad was chained up with a big massive chain, aswel as hidden under a sheeting, a big bit of ply wood, there was a bench in front of it aswel as a dog cage, slide, wheel chair and a box full of engine parts. well the *** i wont use that word!! jumped into my garden from next doors fence, moved everything away from the quad and in front of my door, used bolt cutters to get the chain off and walked out of my garden with the big quad that only just fits out of the gate, not only did they do that. they even had the cheek to lock one of the locks on the gate behind them!!!!
now the thing is not many people knew it was there, and not many people knew it was chained up either bcos the chain was hidden, so whoever it was knew more than they needed to, so was it someone we knew? someone we knew of? or did someone we know open their mouth and say too much to the wrong people??
the people that knew wouldnt have the balls to do it, no one has been avoiding us, apart from one person!! but idk, my OH doesnt think its him anyway ill tell..
there is a tattooist round the corner and one of the lads that goes there always says hi if i walk past, so i was in the shop talking to the lady in there and the lad walked in, she said to him to let her know if he sees or hears anything, his reply was very fast and sharp, he said 'no no i havent seen nothing, i havent, i dont know nothing' then he kept saying 'no i havent' i just said well if you hear anything you tell me bcos im gona rip their *** legs off' 'no no no i havent honest' since then ive seen him 2ce and he wont say hi to me, but idk he could have seen the front end of the quad walking past my garden as i walk out but he wouldnt know its chained up.
weve not seen anything of it on any selling sites,. it wasnt running, it needed a part and also the brakes were left engaged so it would be hard to push, my OH reckons that maybe they could have got fed up of pushing it and realised its not worth it (literally worth about £200) so dumped it, where i am we get scrap men, maybe they picked it up.. who knows
