Oh dear, I have forgotten their names now, Peter something was the father, the oldest son was Stephen, then there was another one followed by Phillip. It was strange being ordered around by Phillip as he was only 11.
They were italians. Every so often the father would arive with a black eye, and a bruised face, his wife didn't come in for a fortnight, as they had been fighting, I suppose she looked much the same. She had some very beautiful clothes and some very classy looking jewelry. She was a very classy looking lady.
I know they were gangsters as it was one of the rare confidences my dad shared with me. He was a tax man, and he was thrilled when I told him I was not paying income tax or national insurance.
