The f word is used pretty often by me. And "sh*t".

I am really one of those people who will accidentally curse in front of children.. ME: "What the f**k!?" SOMEONE: "HEATHER (eyes wide)"... ME: "OH, SHIT, sorry."

you know, it always makes me laugh when people say that swearing in front of children makes the swear, but IMO not always. My mum & dad will admit that they never really watched their mouth when talking around me and sissy, and you know what i have heard the language from a young age but i never, and still now, will not swear in front of my mum and dad let alone swear at them, even when i was a kid, i never slipped out a swear word, the only time i do is if im telling a story that involves a swear word, or i will say sh*t but thats about it. so i dont believe that swearing in front of kids makes them do it

I say shit sometimes, like "Holy Shit" (which doesn't make sense). The only time I say f**k is in a positive way, like "that band was f**kin' great!". I guess that when I curse, it isn't to demean anyone.

What is the point in swearing, if it is not to increase emphasis?

And I NEVER say the C word..however I was called that recently via a creepy email stalker...and let me say this about that....NOBODY calls me the C word (unless in jest by a good girlfriend..then I laugh ... )

let's just say..I shut him down completely..he hasn't emailed in days.......LOL

When I was a kid I called my mom "stupid" once. She washed my mouth out with soap. I remember the taste to this very day. Even now I can't swear in front of her... but my 17 year old sister does. Ha ha.

Haha, suzy... I once told my mom NOT to be stupid, and she punished me. I mostly just remember not being allowed to leave my room.

I use to have a boss who was a gangster, if you didn't do as you were told, you got hit, if you got it wrong, you got hit.

I never got hit, I found him easy to work for, simply because you knew exactly where you stood, no debate, just jump when you were told.

If it hadn't been such a boring job, I could have become a gangster's moll, coz there were three unmarried lads in the family.
