Dr. Oz: One Day Cleanse
Dr. Oz has been talking about the best cleanses for every one of your health goals. But if you only have time to cleanse for one day, Dr. Oz had a plan for you. He talked to nutritionist Kimberly Snyder, who said that in just one day, you can choose foods that will be packed with nutrients to detoxify you and give you plenty of energy.

The first step is to drink plenty of warm lemon water. This is actually part of Dr. Oz’s Total 10 Rapid Weight Loss Plan, but it’s also part of this one-day plan.
Most people reach for coffee in the morning, but that can dehydrate you. To cleanse, you want to be fully hydrated. This is a great way to do that. Start in the morning and keep going all day long.
Dr. Oz: Glowing Green Smoothie
Kimberly also recommended the Glowing Green Smoothie, which is packed with nutrients and it will keep you full. It’s got a lot of fiber and it has fruit and lemon to cut through the taste.
The smoothie calls for water, spinach, romaine lettuce, celery, apple, pear, banana, and organic lemon juice. Drink this first thing in the morning after your lemon water. You can also make this later in the day if you get hungry.
Dr. Oz: Drink Detox Tea
Next, drink some detox tea in the mid-morning. It’s a mix of ginger, cayenne pepper, and lemon. This will help break up the toxins in your body. Ginger is anti-inflammatory as well. Just bring water to a boil and add the ingredients and let it steep. Then strain it, pour it in a mug, and drink it.
Dr. Oz: Eat a Crunchy Lunch
For lunch, you should have something crunch. Cut up veggies and eat them with a dip made from coconut yogurt, pine nuts, yellow onion, cilantro, dill, raw apple cider vinegar, and garlic. This will taste great and clear out your system.
Dr. Oz: Warm Comforting Dinner
For dinner, eat a warm, comforting dinner. Eat some steamed cauliflowers and broccoli with a dip made from avocado, lemon juice, coconut nectar, stevia, garlic, and lemon zest. Pair it with an oil-free soup.
Kimberly recommends doing this for one day four times a year. This will give your digestive and lymphatic system a boost.
