Oceans, lakes, swimming pools, etc. can be very dangerous. But, who is most at risk?

I have heard that also.

I don't like to take any chances with that.
I'm doing my prenatal care.
No MJ, no alcohol. Even if I'm slightly suspicious, but unconfirmed.
And in the hospital with my trusted OB.

I will read to him/her almost at birth.
By 3 they will have a 200 word vocabulary.
By 4 can read and comprehend complete sentences.
By five can add by 2 digit columns.

And they will love me and my family.
And they will be very safe.

And you will help me Jen, and I you.

Thanks! There was a woman from India that worked in Human Resources at my workplace. Her name was Kaushika, but because I love nick-names I asked if her nick was Kaushi. She said yes, but that her friends called her Kashi. I started something because everyone else started calling her Kashi as well.

Sad, isn't it?

Children really need to be watched super carefully near that water. I know you do your job well, but I mean for those parents who get pools and leave their children unattended.

I hate to hear about that every summer. That along with all the ridiculous hot-car deaths that keep happening.

During my training we were schooled about a tragedy.
A HS girl was sitting for her 2 twin nieces.
How old I don't remember.
But she had her BF over and they got involved.
The twins got outside and drowned in the pool.

Just writing about this give me a throat lump Jen.

And yes, I do feel sorry for the girl.
I would be suicidal, for sure.
