It was supposed to be fun.. But the organisers hadnt informed people properly or put up signs at entraces to a local recreation area.
A mother and her child cycled through the common at about 20.45 and came face to face with three figures hanging from trees, they were dressed in trousers and shirts but had white pilowcases over their heads (or so she thought).
She called the police who came and cut down the figures and took them into custody.
They were acutally part of a haunted hunt organised to entertain people and families were supposed to go around the spooky trail through the woods discovering clues..
The poor woman and her son were not amused!
