So, last week, my boyfriend and I went out for some pizza.

After dinner, we were walking to the car, and I noticed how dead-quiet it was, so I said, "it's so quiet, too quiet... we're probably going to die." My boyfriend then slowed down a bit, gave me this somewhat frightened/serious look, handed me the pizza boxes, and hurriedly got into the car LOL I stared at him for a few moments, then I started laughing and called him an a--hole for leaving me to die!

Today I heard a piece on Public Radio that gave me hope. Two guys were talking about gay rights. One is straight and religious, while the other is gay; they formed a friendship and discuss their differences in a positive way. The two of them believe in compromise for those with differing views. The line I took away from the discussion was "We should be uncompromising concerning those that are unwilling to compromise".

After another bat attack, my husband beat me to the bedroom door. In my defense I do sleep on the side away from the doorway. He runs funny at least looking from behind.

Yep St George is also the patron saint of Catalunya as well as England (actually, he's the patron saint of loads of places).

Here in Catalunya tomorrow, it's an unofficial holiday & its a day of literature & romance.

Everybody buys books and roses to give as gifts to each other.

Just thought I'd share.
