Happy Anniversary, WOF

That sounds a good idea

Its so rare to find a supportive and friendly online community these days . So I raise my glass ( well, tea cup) and salute all the members and mods who make this place so special..

Happy anniversary, and a bit, to us.

I think I joined in 2014, but it was running by the time I arrived....

I did join the old site initially.

It was good, and a lot of fun. It improved a lot when Heather and I took over the moderating.

The only problem was the owners were not all that interested as it wasn't making much money for them. He did at least tell us he was shutting down the site and selling up.

Of course this site is far superior now, because it is run by women, for women. Heatherly, is the site owner, and does a really good job of looking after us and the site.

Happy Birthday to this wonderful forum ! I am happy to have discovered all of you ! An English speaking Women Only Forum ! Fine ! My vocal software seems to get used to it : it works more normally today.

Ha! They have saved the last thread ever started on the female forum. I shall go down in history. I did also message Martin, but he never responded.

lol I felt the same way. Hated how it looked, and hated how stereotypical a lot of it was because it was created by a man.

Although we borrowed a lot from there, we definitely added more along the way. I had to have a science-themed area! xD  I find purple to be a bit more neutral, but still can be a little feminine. There are a lot of other themes to be used, though, for anyone who doesn't like purple ;p
