Metallica is not metalcore =p

If you like metal, than it's *possible* you may like them, but most likely not because they have the hardcore screaming... but when they aren't screaming you will probably like their voices and songs lol

Wonderful, Heather! One of my favourite (sorry) records is Metallica being backed by The San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. When I youtubed it, the orchestra members were definitely into it! Shakira does "Nothing Else Matters" at her shows because she has always loved the band. I'll have to check out Killswitch. I don't know if Auttie would like it though because she's a witch, and Kills Witch may not go over very well with her.

Thanks, Cher. Another great voice that was gone at the age of 27. Sad. BTW, Kacey turns 27 on August 21st. I hope that she has many more good years.

I also youtubed The Bee Gees tonight. I saw "To Love Somebody" and "Words". I loved them when I was a kid, and still do.

And . . . they have Australian roots!

I just did Charlotte Church back to back. First, "Bridge Over Troubled Water", and then "Imagine". OMG! She has an amazing voice, and for those of you that haven't heard of her, please check her out.

I went back for some more and saw her sing "O Holy Night" and "Ave Maria". How can I possibly love a country girl from Texas (Kacey) AND an opera singer from Wales (Charlotte) at the same time?! Perhaps I just love musical talent, no matter the genre.

Thank you, Cher!!! Not to belabour a point, but I just watched her sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". It's a song that I have loved since I was a child, but have never heard it the way she does it. OK . . . I'm hooked on Charlotte.
