The woman in front of me at a supermarket today who, unloading her trolleyfull of goods at the checkout, was happy to let me go next when I cheekily asked as I only had three packets of fish (for £10) so would be a quick transaction. I did extract a £10 note from my purse and payed the exact cash as she deserved to not be held up.

since i got a raise at work i gave a homeless man $20 yesterday cuz i felt bad for him. the look on his face made me smile plus we saw him fist pumping and running back into mcdonald's.

Lines from Jane Austen stories... We started watching the 1996 TV movie Emma (with Kate Beckinsale) and now the audiobook chosen by the teens is Pride & Prejudice! (I've also been reading aloud to them a completion of Sanditon, by Marie Dobbs.) So much Austen and I love it!
