That I don't live in London: sorry to anyone who loves London.
I used to live in London I used to think it was the best thing since slice bread. I loved the clubs bars museums and galleries I loved the buzz but I was young then. Now I couldn't cope with the noise, the dirt, the smell and the crime levels..
London would suit me fine. I like cities, or little towns. It's medium size towns I don't like. They are too big for friendliness, and too small for interest.
I love the countryside. It is my slice of paradise. I don't like busy buildings and traffic everywhere. I like parkland and trees and plants: you don't get that in London.
I'm grateful that my property borders conservation land. This gives me a huge backyard.
You are very fortunate to be in such a location. That sounds like a dream come true to me: I've always wanted a garden with woodland boarding on the fence.

You are quite mistaken there:
London is a surprisingly green city, with around 3,000 parks and a vibrant network of canals, reservoirs, and riversides to explore.

I used to live about 100 yards from Richmond park its a wonderful place full of wildlife..

You beat me to it. I was implying that somewhat in mentioning Alexandra Palace grounds. I also remember eating my sandwiches in Regents Park one time (not in the zoo).
I think it can be some of the more modern industrial towns which are far less hospitable. There was a time in history in which the way forward was seen as just housing workers in their masses beside ironworks and such. Those areas can be so dismal and bleak.
Sad to say that my only experiences in Glasgow have been in dismal conditions. I found the city to look very bleak in low grey cloud and pouring rain.
Today Im grateful for a crisp frosty morning with a wonderful sunrise a chilly kestrel who sat very still while I took his photo and the mad march hares who were playing in the field much to our amusement.

I am not going to argue. The last time I went to Glasgow, I went back to where I was born. It rained so heavy, I stayed in the car.
The rain in Scotland is often different from England. In England if it is raining first thing, you know that it will likely ease off sooner or later. In Scotland, it can be all day.
A lot of english say to me "I love Scotland. It's so much greener than England. But it rains so much!"

that my email inbox is behaving itself and is actually deleting what I want it to delete.
over the last few weeks, I had issues with it- causing a major back log of messages. pleased to say that it seems to be working now.
also I heard from my friend michelle yesterday she doesn't write to me often, but she's christian, and when she does it's really nice. her son's getting married and she's so excited about it
It was sunny this morning so I could get on and clear some outside jobs quickly. It's been a reasonable week so most of the washing pile is cleared too.
