Every time I see it on the news I am put off even going, let alone living there.

A few years back but on my last trip (work related) I went to Alexandra Palace and was impressed by how nice and peaceful it was on my walk up through the park from the station. I have wondered quite a bit about how much it has changed and whether it was a good place to live. The only time I see any of it now is when it is featured on the "Red Bull Soapbox Race". The carts run down the hill there.

I used to live in London I used to think it was the best thing since slice bread. I loved the clubs bars museums and galleries I loved the buzz but I was young then. Now I couldn't cope with the noise, the dirt, the smell and the crime levels..

In the past London was portrayed as being this glamorous, wonderful place. But it is far from glamorous. I just couldn't live there: I prefer being near the countryside. I LOVE the countryside and the life it provides. I definitely am happy where I am.
