what are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful for all of our appliances - so much manual labour would be required to wash our clothes and dishes otherwise. And imagine cooking a chicken with a spit and fire instead of putting it in a crockpot to cook through the day!

This is what I've been trying to say myself! It is so easy to take our technology for granted: but where would we be without our washing machines and cars?

I'm glad there is no snow so the roads should be clear so I can get to art group.

I just defrosted mine. The frost was thicker than I expected.

Our ploughed field garden lawn is frozen solid.

Every cloud........ 

I'm grateful that the weekend is here and will be spending time with friends.

Its my sons birthday. Its not to be taken for granted, a few years ago he was told he only had weeks to live .

Thanks. Sadly he will never ' recover ' but the treatment he got ( and continues ) means his chance at a normal life span is now much like anyone else.

Theres another thing to be grateful for...medical science..

That the storm is winding down so, when I go out, it will hopefully be safe.

I'm grateful for the return of the 80 degree days this week. It's been awhile since it has been this warm.
