During the heatwave I was badly sweating. I had a shower every day but would shower with cold water after soaping myself. However, I'd dry off and my back would be covered in sweat again. It was a real pain.

Now the weather is cooler, I am not as sweaty and feel far more comfortable.

There are worse things to worry about. Damage to the nail bed of the type that can cause you to lose the nail, can also damage the nail bed. This can cause the nail to thicken to a remarkable large lump, and is very common in the elderly.

If it's not too early in the morning, and your tummy is settled, look up onychogryphosis.

It's fun , and interesting, to treat though.


It's one of the conditions that I may never see again.

Good news for sure. 

My toe is still a little sore but not too bad.

No: just a little tired.

I have an overall stiffness this morning. Maybe from a late night.

I must admit these negative reflections don't suit me. I prefer to reflect on positives, and forget about the darker side of life.

I work with the elderly, and it seems to me that the happier patients, are those with a positive outlook, who don't talk about their aches and pains.

It does take all types though.

I get those, but two paracetamol, and they are gone. Thankfully, I never get the associated headache.

Cherry, I don't get the headache either. I just take Tylenol and it seems to speed it up.
