It was only about five degrees here this morning. I didn't have anywhere I needed to go but I felt like dressing a little fab today so in honor of the cold weather I threw on a pale pink cable knit cowl neck sweater dress with matching over the knee socks. It's been great feeling both dressy and comfy snuggled up with some tea and watching a Married at First Sight marathon. So how do you dress to feel your best during the cold, dark winter?

Standard jeans boots winter parka but I have a large selection of winter hats and scarves to jazz up my outfit and keep warm

Hats and scarves are such great accessories. You can effortlessly modify one outfit so many ways.

The way I dress often does not vary greatly whatever the time of year. I just wear a warmer coat, gloves and a hat when it is really cold. Here the temeprature does not vary as much as it does in some places and I find, like the arabs, that keeping covered is a good idea even in the hot sun.

Lol, nope. I didn't mean dress up for cold weather, I meant dressing up for myself. Choosing colors, styles, designs, etc. as a way of fighting off the winter blahs. It's been nothing but gray and white here so a lil pop of pink was just what I needed. I was curious if others here did this or just me.

Must be nice. My mom lives in FL and I called her yesterday. She told me it was about 70 degrees. I was a bit jealous to say the least!

My ex liked to 'help' choose my clothes, and I was daft enough to let him. So, even though it is a long time since I left the twat, I still enjoy rebelling against his conservatism, and I wear what I want to wear, and what I think looks good on me.

I love clothes and fashion and am always wearing stylish clothes. I don't dress up in a ballgown but I do wear stylish knits and general winter-wear. I do also wear vintage dresses - charity shop dresses - throughout the year. I really enjoy looking feminine.

Now I DO wear jeans: but not every day. Again, I like dressing in stylish clothes. I have quite a big wardrobe and try to vary my look on a daily basis.
