We had lots of snails in one area of our neighbourhood last year. Just the right moisture content for them to come and breed a bunch? Anyway, I thought they were cute, but I have to admit I'm not sure why the addition of the shell makes them cooler than a simple slug...

I like both. They look the same to me.. one is just homeless lol
I think they are cute ;p Especially the spotted kind that visit my porch.
We get the normal black or beige ones but recently Ive spotted a few leopard print ones... I just thought they were ladies of a certain type on a night out

We had a momma and baby deer in our yard the other day. Usually we have a larger amount walking through our yard, but later in the year.
The moms seem to like to leave their babies in our yard, but when we mow the lawn sometimes they get scared and run away =/ We have no idea they are there until they run! They are well-hidden.
I saw turkeys crossing the highway on Saturday. We get them in our neighbourhood sometimes, but this was at the other end of town and I hadn't encountered them there before. I wonder if they'll ever go back to the spot where Turkey Crossing signs used to be placed. It's a construction zone right now, so they may avoid that area for some time...
Last Thursday, my friend and I had a close encounter with a chipmunk at a local lake. He must have been so used to the picnic tables and people using them. He actually came up on the bench of the table and then hopped on her lap for a second! I thought for sure she'd squeal and scare him, but she was quiet and he just left quickly. She said she felt like a Disney princess. LOL
I did have to point out that it wasn't really a good sign he was comfortable with humans. As a species, we're not exactly harmless to animals... Hope he has a good long life for a chipmunk and doesn't eat anything left behind that would be nasty for his digestion.

Like with your chipmunk the squirrels are getting like that in many places now. People like to hand feed them and take selfies.

There are about 8 to 10 that bed down in my back yard every morning. They must feel safe here.

I am very much into nature. I love walking in the woods and countryside. I love dogs. I love cats. I love spiders. I love the rainforests and Africa. It'd be my dream to visit Africa. It is such a beautiful continent. Not just Egypt but also South Africa.
Here is is. this is why you always have to be aware when you are out in the backwaters here. he is on the right side of the above pic. imgur.com/92Tf5Me
