I did Cherry. We were just driving down the trail when he walked out and looked at us. It was only for a minute or two and then he walked away and beck into the woods.
Those are my favourite bugs. I do love spiders the best, though!
I think it depends on the situation a bit. Ladybirds are lovely little creatures and they help with pests in the garden but, even here, they can get too much www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-35603972

I have no problem handling large spiders. I think they're elegant and clever animals. They have a mystery about them: an allure.
My mum taught me as a little girl to love spiders: there was a spider behind the television and my mum told us to leave it alone, that it wasn't doing any harm. I guess I've carried that confidence for spiders into adulthood. Plus, I don't see that spider dropping bombs on Syria or shooting people dead. That spider has done nothing wrong and has every right to its existence. Plus, spiders are good luck: that is what I was taught.
A spider is an amazing creature: and deserves respect.

I have a "pet spider" in my kitchen window. I leave a light on near the window at night so it can catch bugs for food lol I named them Parker because it's a unisex name... and the last name of Spiderman (Peter Parker)
I think mine might be a grass spider.. he's very far from the grass, but he has a non-sticky web like them.. similar markings. There are two other spiders that resemble them, though.. so it's hard to tell 100%.
It's one sound that's instantly recognisable. I have never heard it live (well unlikely to here) but I learn't it young. I was just thinking about other animals too. I have known dogs give a very low growl when approached steadily increasing in volume and frequency as you get closer to finally lashing out when you get too close. It strikes me as being very similar.

I like snakes, too.
In fact, snakes don't scare me at all. I guess I love nature and wildlife in all its aspects. I've grown up with nature and handling animals - and spiders! - so I am used to it. I also know how to walk in the woods and on rocky trails. I walked in the woods in Sweden as a kid. I also cycled everywhere growing up.
I love the great outdoors. I love gardens, plants and flowers, too.
The worst with mosquitoes is when I lie in bed and hear one flying around the room. It is quiet here so it's easy to hear them. I have to get up and find it otherwise I don't sleep.
