Maxi skirts

As you know, it's getting toward winter up here now. I have one that I like for the colder weather which I wore last Sunday. It is plain but fairly heavy and the wind does not affect it or get through and it's lovely and comfortable in the colder weather. The ones I recently converted from dresses are ankle length but are thin so maybe not until the spring. One other one I remember I have is fairly thin too.

Mostly though I wear much shorter skirts, even in the winter. I just wear thicker and fleecy tights so I am warm enough.

I used to wear maxi's more when I lived back north but since I moved to Florida I haven't. I only own one right now but haven't worn it in quite awhile.

I LOVE wearing maxi skirts: they are fabulous.

Evening .

Hmmm, okay.thinking and have been told some thing ,

So as most know i,m a dancer 1920 to 1970. so i do dress in a few different styles i do have 2 dress,s for the 20,s and one for the flappers next are Edwardian 1900 to 1914 long and wide 10 feet around others are rock and roll 1970,s some Ball gowns so they cover many times about 7 of now in between is waltz,s fox trot blues and a few other,s so we cover a lot ,

Now on a week night Mondays and Wensdays is just what ever you like a few of us still wear a skirt and a top is  not like for a night out evening out so just a normal type of clothes youd wear any where .

Now most of those nights i still wear a skirt normally long allmost down to my shoes so this time i wore my shorter skirt a jean type style with two pockets as most i have done and put sew them on now one of our dance group ,

said i look better in the shorter skirt just below my knees okaaaay. and she said my longer ones dont do any thing for me . oh.so said i have great looking legs, oh dear me....okay , so i was told,
in other words and she is a woman this time i had been told by a guy some 5 years ago WEAR shorter skirts, okay is summer here.

Right now brain is working over time here i,m not done yet, been thinking about this since wen,s ,

Not sure now what to say or ask, oh allmost for got i do wear tight,s in a light black colour , I can dress nicely when i need to my detail is most of my skirts are long for dancing , just not the rock and roll ones .

Now my brain is throwing around is this for the guy,s , i really dont give a toss for them they dont ask me out and i,m not dressing for them, in my language they can sod off,

my dancing group partners will dance with me any way and i ask them or Pam say go and ask Oliver or Donald or who ever . so is no issue so it did not seem to be about our dancer,s so did i miss what i was told ,

We dont get people come in who we dont know we have 150 mem,bers so i know most people or Pam will know some i dont , okay then ,

Next is i dont need to shorten some more or is this about my normal day wear style going out or what ever as you know i dont do fashon and yes i,m years behind any way as i design and make my clothes so is no issue
Now just to take this further i design make my Prussian German clothes for our renassance group and skirts and dress are long 1400 to 1700.

Now i know in our county Prussian -Germany the length is shorter, what i have i like and suits me very well. or should that be my style,

The Florida sun is the perfect place to wear beautiful wedges.

I have all lengths....
