Last night, me and 4 people (all family members expect one) went out to the bars. I wasn't going to go at first because I made everyone aware that I didn't have any money. They all (except one) offered to pay my way in and buy drinks because they wanted me to go.
We all met up at someone's house to discuss plans and the group decided that we were going to use my car. Which by the way, no one asked me about. I was sort of ambushed and argued with them about it before just giving in because they were agreeing to pay gas money.
Once we were on the road, we went to a hookah/bar lounge. I don't smoke and everyone knows this. I came for the drinks. It ended up being a 20$ fee per person and I didn't think it was reasonable for me to pay this because 1. I don't smoke and 2. I wasn't going to spend any money that I didn't have.
(the owner of the hookah lounge ended up letting me in for free because they begged for me to come in. no one spent any extra money on my behalf)
The group kept bringing up gas money prices and how much they'll pay while we were at the lounge, therefore I didn't mind being out with them.
Fast forward to after the hookah lounge closed, we went to a bar where (1 person that wasn't a family member) paid my way into the bar. It was a 10$ fee and it came with a free drink. Everything's going well and it's about 1:30 AM and the bar closes at 2.
Only one person was ready to go, so I dropped her off at her car and she paid me 10$. I told the other three people that they would have to pay me at least 15$ to drop all of them off because they all lived in different directions and gas prices now are ridiculous.
They waited until I got back to the bar to get them, to tell me to basically f**k off and they'll find their own ways home. Leaving me with less gas than I already had and distrust.
(Keep in mind that these are my closest friends / family members)
How do I go about forgiving and leaving this situation behind me?
