We are currently at 92° & sunny. I had put seeds out for the squirrels last night. Today while standing at the front door waiting for pizza delivery I was rewarded with all kinds of cuteness.

There was 2 squirrels nibbling & chilling on branches & a bunch of little finches running around on the porch. They walked up to the screen door (actually all glass) & were looking in & pecking at the glass. I started laughing.

it starts as being warm (5am) by 7 am its stay in the shade and by 11am its dodge the sunny bits or risk melting..

At night every surface turns into fly paper I stick to furniture and bed sheets as if someone has covered them in glue.. The dogs pace and exchange one tiled floor for another,,the only cheerful one is Basil the parrot but hes an African grey.

The other day I was hearing about a derecho near Iowa and Chicago.. it sounded scary. They said to treat it like a tornado!
