I really should choose my words more carefully.... 

Latest on the storm. Its forward motion slowed a bit but now the winds could be as high as 100mph but that should be before it gets to us. It still is tracking to our east which is about the only good thing because the west side of the storm isn't as bad. So now the worse looks like early Sunday morning to the end of the day.

We just had tropical storm warnings go up and oin the next county over a hurricane warning has been issued. The last two model runs have brought the eye of the storm much closer to us. It's going to be a rough ride.

It looks like starting tomorrow morning to Monday morning will be the worse here. It moved a little closer in so we are watching it very closely.

We will be seeing him I think Monday evening and into Tuesday.. but hopefully just the very outer bands if it stays more in the water. We still don't have a generator yet... grr.. I wanted to have one before all the storms started.

The storm has passed up with no issues whatsoever. We had very little rain and just a little breeze. It helped us that the storm went further off shore than predicted. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed for all that will be affected as it works it way north.

Right now it's right off the coast, though... spinning slowly. It looks like some of it could just barely reach us based on where it is right now. We are having flash flood warnings because of the thunderstorm and the possible outer bands co-mingling!

We got a lot of rain, but that was pretty much it. The wind didn't get too bad here, phew! It all happened while I was mostly sleeping lol
