Some aren't as easy to understand lol I can speak with a pretty convincing British accent ;-) But I don't make a habit out of it because that would be silly!

I agree, Cherry.

I could meet a man who is OK looking, but if he busts out that accent, he is the hottest guy in the room.

When I was single and ho-ing it up at the bars, I remember I was working on going home with this one guy, but his friend came along who was from England and I ignored the first guy and went home with the British guy. Lol!

I was such a skank.

When I moved to England, as well as my scots accent, I still used scots slang to some extent.

Sometimes I would be advising patients on what they should be doing, or describing the diagnosis and care, and they would just grin at me.

When I stopped.

"I have no idea what you are saying, but I do love the accent. "

I was always tempted to smile and reply "Would you like me to poke you in the eye with my finger?"

I sort of wish I had now......

I love accents, no matter where they come from! Canadians that say "oot and aboot", Spanish speaking people that use v's as b's, UKers that say "mooch" rather than much, and here in the US where those from New England say "Pahk the cah" instead of park the car. It's just fun.

I consider myself accent-less, but I know to those outside of the US I have one. Sometimes I sound like a northerner, and sometimes I sound like a southerner.. it's always when I get lazy when my speech or talk too fast lol I'll just get a touch of an accent on a random word here and there.
