I go out a lot without makeup.. even pre-pandemic.. unless it's out to eat with others... which we aren't doing for a while anyway. Grocery stores, doctor office... I'll go bare-faced.

I have an on-off, off-on relationship with makeup. I wear:
Foundation fairly often Lipstick I'd [ideally] wear every day I always have painted nails: I have done since being a young girl - yes: my mum let me! Although it's not makeup, I pluck my eyebrows regularly Again, not makeup, but I wear earrings like clockwork
Makeup is gorgeous: there's no denying that. It feels luxurious and a treat to wear it.

Perfect foundations or not: I bought myself a makeup caddy from the shops yesterday: it is large and plastic with compartments. It fits in my makeup brushes, foundations and face powder.
My lipstick is no longer being produced. I like Staypout from No17 called It's Complicated. I bought a few when I saw they were no longer producing them. I am down o my last one now.

I have found that happens too. I had a lovely one from Maybelline which had gone from the shelves when I went to buy again.
I can buy it brand new and sealed off ebay, but while I used to pay about £7 from the shops. From ebay it is £24 plus postage.
ebay really confuses things these days. I know there are various postal charges but I have recently noticed that, when I search for something, I am often presented with a stack of US sellers before anything in Europe unless I filter them out. Due to the current charges an item costing a low price may ofen incur postal charges way off the scale. I often wonder just who pays such charges and how it must irritate US sellers knowing that they are losing out in a big section of the market. They are wasting their time, in the main, to even list them here. It makes using ebay somewhat more negative. I was only reading elsewhere yesterday a friend of a friend trying to bypass international postage charges for items of minor value. It happens often.

I sold a dress on ebay a few years ago. It was £12, but the postage was £12.35.
She left good feedback, but pointed out that the postage was too expensive. I can' say as I disagreed.

I have been noticing a lot of really high shipping cost on ebay lately. Some I can understand but some are totally ridiculous.

I had problems with eBay: namely a case of mistaken user identity. eBay thought I was someone else who had run up some kind of debt with them: I hadn't even registered with eBay before. I have also had problems with the National Lottery website: they think I live outside of the UK. I live in the midlands, for pete's sake. Because of this I can't use their website.

I was so surprised to see this topic. I mean really there are some ladies who so not do that? I use moisturiser, SPF, night masks and plenty other creams. I can't probably say the exact ones but among my favorites are caudallie, drunk elephant, la roche posay etc
I use face cream all the time. I use high spf too as I burn up easy. I have a ;arge pot of body cream too. These days I usually buy it half a dozen pots at a time.
I just switched to physician formula. My late mother told me we should switch every few years. I should listen to her, she died at 81, without a single wrinkle on her face, even after 13 years living with dementia.
