I just want to carry on living a normal life. I get things done and that is that. I also have found I like carrying out tasks: no matter how mundane. It gives me a way to spend time and keep organized. Plus, I feel a sense of achievement when getting things done: like finishing my essay last night and emailing it to my tutor.

I am living a normal life, and you're right life is about doing things not sitting moping about what gone, past or impossible.

Im doing things I normally do just with a few tweeks... I shop but at slightly different times and with a mask. I see people but at a distance and not in groups.

Its time to adjust to the situation we have now and stop this constant pandering to the past *normal* all the time. While we sit around pining for whats past we are wasting precious time.

Embrace today and whats possible now , find way to make it work for you, you cannot turn back the clock and the way this virus is developing its not going to go away or sit still so neither should we.

I am literally stuck here in Cali until I can get a few more surgeries (from an accident years ago). Sadly, due to the plague my docs do NOT want me coming in because they will require long stats in rehab afterwards and I will 100% get COVID if I go that route. So, waiting for things to get better. My poor GF back home is being so patient, love her to bits. That be said, Cali is wonderful and there are much worse places I can be.

Aww thank you. No pain just stuck in a wheel chair and unable to travel because of it.
