I am a former public school teacher, but I had to go on disability 7 years ago because of Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus. I work part-time at a gas station, to get out of the house and talk to people. I have been feeling very lonely and isolated and would really like to be a part of a supportive community. I have to say right off the bat that I am agnostic and liberal, and I am not looking to argue with anyone about my beliefs, so if you would be okay with having a good talk with someone like me I would really love to hear from you!

Hi Misty, that was the name of my first cat. She was a right terror, and I never managed to teach her not to play fight with claws.

Sorry to hear of your health issues, but respect to you for pushing on despite.

We rarely argue here, but debates can be good.

But just join in the ones you want, or start your own. There is also a diary section, where you can just add any povs you have.

Feel free to share your thoughts. We do try to stay away from outright arguing, but we're open to debating on topics. We try to still have fun with each other even if we disagree.

If you don't move forward, you stall and the medical condition will likely become worse.

My mum dealt with lupus for a couple decades, and is in remission. I'm proud of her for how she's done with health challenges.
