They are a French manicure ATM. The other day, I wore my Rimmel London Mermaid Fin. Such a gorgeous iridescent colour. I have quite the collection of nail polishes!

My nails are sort of medium. Far too long for playing the guitar, which I used to and remember always having to cut them, but not long. I do too much in the garden to have long nails. I could wear gloves but never think about it so they do get worn and, with solvents, brittle after a while so split or chip. I do moisturise regularly and occasionally use nail oil so get by as my nails are strong.

I get mine from Amazon, the 100,000 mcg dosage. The strongest I can get OTC at Walmart is 10,000 mcg. It'll take probably 3 months before you notice the difference; nails grow slowly. Good luck!

I do like longer nails, it's just I have a semi physical job and they break, split and crack all the time and it looks so silly having three or four nice nails on one hand and the others short and split haha.

If it's a special occasion, glue on nails are really a lifesaver

I'm not sure how to take great photos of the results, but here's Pep Plum this morning, before chips started happening. Picture Jazzy Jade on the left index finger because it somehow ended up without any polish before suppertime. (Hope there's no polish in any food I made!)

Probably lol I painted my own nails for my friend's wedding, and the amount of times I re-did it was such a waste of time... and the result was never perfect, but it was good enough if nobody stared. I probably should have found a salon instead to get it done quickly, but I didn't know of where to go in a pinch lol

I still do my nails but I find getting a mani gives me better results and the feeling of being pampered a little.

You should see my sister's nails: they are GORGEOUS. She has them professionally done, as regularly as clockwork.

Personally, I much prefer shorter nails: but it is my sister's prerogative to enjoy having glamorous -and beautiful - nails!
