Last night I fell asleep at 10:45pm. I woke up at 5am then went back to sleep and woke up at 9:30am.
I actually love being asleep. Strange but true.
Wow, I'm lucky if I get 4 to 5 hours of asleep a night. I function fine and I very rarely feel tired.
It's not worth a special visit, but next time you see your GP, I would suggest asking if it is anything to worry about. The net does call it hyposomnia, the opposite of what Candy suffers with, but I can find no evidence that if you are not suffering through it, as to why, or how, it should be treated.

I have an appointment coming up in early November and I can ask. It can't hurt to do so.

He could prescribe you a bottle of wine before bed, that would give you a good nights sleep. It would certainly take me out.
Lol.. are you trying the look at me command? I find that combined with a reward helps refocus attention. But BCs are notorious for chasing anything that moves.

He is not impressed with food or affection rewards, except in the classroom or at home. It took just one attempt to teach him 'look at me', but that was only in the classroom.
He does extremely well with 'sit' and will sit and watch the cars going by, but as soon as we move off, he is pulling strongly, and lunging.
He has improved, and where wide pavements are, he just pulls, not lunges, after a few cars go by while he is made to sit. He hardly pulls at all in the woods, so I know he is capable.

I know he is capable, famous last words. I often say them about Murphy. This is a dog who can walk silently past horse ,sheep, cows, deer,or hare. But the sight of a cat walking up a neighbours drive or crossing the road 100 yards in front of us drives him insane and he's lunging and pulling like some demented hound. Murphy's 7 now so I would say they get better with time but that's not always true either!
Very up and down at the moment, oscvillating wildly in mood. I suspect a combination of mum's death and the winter blues which I tend to get with the season. Hopefully it will pass soon.

I tend to get a little SAD, but not till after the new year. You could try upping your vitamin D.

Thank you everyone. I got out for a walk yesterday and, although it rained a bit, I did perk up. I slept well last night so I feel better today. I need to break out of it a bit.
Cherry my Christmas depression usually comes on before and during Christmas rather than after. I used to look forward to the bright, crisp January days when the sun shined and frost glistened. This global warming makes a mess of everything

That's fairly normal. Apparently more separations occur over xmas than any other time of year.

Happy but tired. I had an early start this morning: I just got out of bed and ready for the day. I made my caffetterie coffee and ate my porridge. I also had my daily shower.
Even though I feel tired I am looking forward to going to the supermarket with my dad and having a MacDonald's for lunch.
