I introduce all of my friends in the area to my husband, and he does the same.
If we have friends out of the area, we meet with them if we can so our spouse can get to know them too.
I find this enjoyable because everyone knows each other so dinner, outings... are never an issue.
Pretty much. My SO and I are attached at the hip xD
The only people I have not met and vice versa are some coworkers. I have met a few of his when they have parties or weddings, but I have never met mine working remotely, so neither has he lol
Same with friends if they are long-distance or online.. he might not have met some of them, but he knows about them, and I tell him about our conversations.

You are all such sociable people.
OH and I always try to avoid work people and if we are on holiday we speak Dutch around English people just so they dont engage with us...
We dont do dinners or outings with anyone anymore. We did years ago and I hated it , all the women checking out each others clothes ...was this the second or third time so& so has worn that dress? etc
The gossip and the drunken male advances... why do men think they are Gods gift to women when drunk? Sucking up to bosses just because it might lead to a promotion even though the guy was a brainless old fart.. I hated it all and I was so glad when we didnt have to do it anymore.

Checking out each other? that's too much because we meet in the weekend and I would be in ponytail and casual clothes. We rarely meet with people we work with, I have a bbq once a year and I used to get to get together with people at work but no more.

Not long after we got married my ex took me to his works do. It was pseudo posh with a free 5 course meal, and he was mortified as I wouldn't stand up for the queen before smokes.
What did he expect? I'm scottish. I am not going to stand up for a song that boast of crushing the scots. They can go and ******

He said I couldn't go next year.
Couldn't go??? Things have come a long way since William Wallace was hung, drawn and quartered
I'm feeling pretty good. Just had dinner, my cat is zooming all over my room, I just asked Alexa to play some punk rock and I'm reading and posting here in WOF

I have been chronically fatigued for a long time now... no end in sight. Changing my med dosages doesn't make a difference. Exercise doesn't help. Diet changes doesn't seem to help. Sleeping more doesn't help... I've even tried supplements and caffeine... nada! Some days are worse than others, though, but it's almost getting hard to tell the difference. I do think my depression and anxiety has been higher since the pandemic... so maybe that's why it's persistent at a higher level. Oh well, I'm used to it, so I'll make do.. but it does chip away at me mentally and physically. I just want to feel normal, but I don't remember what that feels like.. so I'd probably just feel AMAZING if I felt normal lol

It's probably something which takes long steady progress to get out of. I hope you get there. One thing I have found helpful is to avoid getting too engrossed in the news though. Particularly at the moment the constant stress just grinds me down. I have seen a little light recently though as the covid thing is being handled at reasonable levels rather than 'The Andromeda Strain' of 'Rise of the Zombies'.
Probably a bit tired now. It was visiting my mum and then to art group but I have changed my route home, for various reasons, and now come back through the city. This co-incides with school leaving time so it is a bit frantic

I am with Jen on this.
Don't watch the news more than once a day. It may be much the same news, but it seems to just add a weight, every time you hear it.

I don't watch the news pretty much ever ;p I'm not blissfully unaware even still, though.

I've had my daily shower, so now feel even better.
I do love my daily showers: you feel so comfortable and fresh. I've always washed myself and always will. I certainly like to smell nice. Lynx Africa helps with this, too.
