I had a lovely lie-in today: I got up at 10:30am. I needed the sleep. Having plenty of rest is important to me. I went to bed the usual time last night and am glad I did. I certainly enjoy my sleep.
Other than sneezing a lot I am doing well. The pollen here is off the charts with just about everything in bloom.
I used to sneeze a lot and blow my nose a lot as a kid. Hayfever was awful. I don't have it anymore, but back then I did. I'd sneeze and sneeze. One-day I got grass on my skin: I ended up with hives. My skin was so itchy. Now I know to protect my skin from grass.
Anyhow, I'd take a few antihistamines. But you'll need extra-strong ones.
Today I am feeling a bit tired. I think that over the past week or so I have been thinking and doing things in many directions at once and have got to a point where I need to stop and move along at a more gentle pace for a few days.
I am a little apprehensive about my eyesight test. I intend going for the prescription glasses today to see if they are much better than my usual cheapo 'readers'. The problem is that I have never been to a good optician, ever. I always get the feeling that when they finish my test, they are thinking "That will do her!", and not "That's the best I could do for her!"
They are just jobsworths. I can spot them, I have employed enough of them in my time.

I am lucky.
I feel good today: tired but good. I have written a new poem. I have done work online and gave my apartment a bit of a clean. It is sunny and it is going to be a good day. However, I need more sleep this morning, which is annoying.
I don't mind wearing glasses. I'd rather not, but....
To be honest, a_muppet I am glad not to have a problem with my eyes. The rest of my family wear glasses, but mum - who sadly died in 2014 - never needed glasses. I guess I got my eyes from her.
There's nothing wrong with wearing glasses but it is a relief to not have to.

Definitely. Given the choice I would rather not.
I would rather not either and often don't unless I have too or want to see at a distance.
