New glasses came in, so my eyes are adjusting. They are making objects slanted and tilted, plus everything is being shrunken down.. walking around and moving my head feels weird, as I become disoriented. I am not liking it at all, but such is the case when one has myopia and astigmatism from what I have read.
I also am having anxiety because I keep having heart palpitations... two big thuds happened not long ago and freaked me out. Just trying to stay relaxed, but it's hard to when they feel so scary.

I'm the same way when I get new glasses. For me it's almost like a dizzy feeling but iy usually doesn't last long.

I hope it's no problems. I remember having some strange occurrence, many years ago now. My heart seemed to go into some strange rhythm and I felt really funny for a few minutes. Luckily it has never re-occurred.

I wish mine would stop.. I used to not really get them except for once in a blue moon, and now over the last few years, I get way more episodes of them. I don't get many breaks from them lately... it's almost daily still, and some days I get way more than others, especially at night. I know we're still trying to adjust my thyroid levels to be more optimal, but I'm technically in a 'normal' range per my last labs, and the symptoms are not stopping. My endo wants me to get checked for anemia to see if it's a cause.
could be anxiety could be blood pressure not sure how old you are but could be the start of menopause
I tend to have low blood pressure... and usually the heart issues start the anxiety xD I have been trying to take more calming supplements to see if it will help, but it happens even when I'm relaxed and about to fall asleep.
I have also thought of getting my lady hormones checked for any imbalances....
Too many possible causes, that's for sure... just gotta go through a check list, and hopefully there will be an answer somewhere.... but for some people, it's just normal to get them a bunch all the time for no reason.. I just don't want that to be me =/

I get a little acrophobia when I take my glasses off while walking... At 5'2" it's an odd sensation to get.

A little upset: my dad is worried about me using this website and doesn't want me to post anymore. It is a fear that I'll be sucked into some weird psycho cult:
1. None of you are psychopaths - I hope! LOL 2. None of you are cultests 3. I don't air my dirty laundry out in public 4. I don't meet any of you physically
So where's the danger? I appreciate my dad worrying but I know I am safe on this website!

I think you should let your dad read our forum over your shoulder.
I can honestly say I would let my granny join us here. Were she still around.

Please inform your dad . You are over 18. Many of us are old enough to be your mother. None of us are coercive. Nobody here asks you to do or say anything about your private life.
And again you are over 18 .. its time dad realised that and respects your ability to make your own decisions.

The only danger I find is that I spend too long online rather than sorting things at home. Maybe he worries about how long you are on the computer or whether you seem addicted to it rather than living offline?

I didnt want to sound bossy and I know dads worry.. My daughter was here yesterday and my husband insisted I drive her home rather than let her take the one stop, 7min journey on the train because it was late 8pm ! Shes 33 years old and has enough attitude to stop a rhino at full charge but hey he was worried.. But there are times when we have to say dad its time to take a breath and let us be grown ups..

You're all right: I am not a child. It is great to have someone worry and care but I've been on this website for years and I've been fine. So what has changed with my dad's attitude? One member mentioning God doesn't mean you're all cultests.
Anyhow, I am a big girl and my dad needs to let me judge for myself. If I am in danger, I will leave this website: I do know when a situation is dangerous and is not dangerous. I DO have a mental age of above 4.

Well, I had a bad's night sleep: I kept waking up. In the end I gave up and got out of bed. I ate my breakfast and drank my caffetterie coffee. I now have plans to have an afternoon nap today.
