Feeling excited about going to bed in a few minutes. Our holiday mattress did mean things to my back.
Our bed is really comfy.
Progress on the bad back.
It now only aches on the left side. Yesterday, I ached, right, left and centre. I know it was the bed, coz painkillers never helped. It didn't get better till I started walking.

There is nothing like your own bed to help those aches and pains go away.

I love going to bed! Falling asleep and being asleep for hours and hours is very refreshing. I always look forward to falling asleep. Hence why I don't get up early in the morning!
Personally, I think people who voluntarily get up at 6am every morning are insane. 9am is early for me. No: no early mornings if I can avoid them.

Ok Im insane...
I get up at 6 am . In winter it can be a little later in summer its often much earlier.
You miss so much. Sunrises, wildlife, the breath of a new day , hearing and seeing the world wake up around you and the peace and tranquility of the blue hour..
Mind you,,, If everyone was convinced by my way of thinking it would be the new rush hour so Im quite happy for you to lie in ......

I finsihed the Prednisone yesterday and Im glad. The headaches, nausea and the feeling Id been shot in the chest were not nice. But I have to say the pain in my joints is much better.
Now I need to see how long its effective for, if this is a once in a while ( 1or2 times a year) thing I can cope with it but anymore than that is a non starter.

Is this for the fibro?
Good question..I have both fibromyalgia and artrose.
My joints were very painful. Blood test showed no rheuma factor and lady gp said take vit D ..which was no help
So I went back and saw gp Jelmer... His opinion was that even if rheuma factor doesn't show up there can still be an inflammation in the joints.
He gave me the prednisone because as he said if the joints improve it indicates an inflammation regardless of what the blood tests showed. If no improvement then it's something else.
I will talk to him later this week but I'm guessing he will think this was an inflammation given that its all calm now.

Good luck. It's tricky as arthritic pain can be so similar to fibro pain.
