My so is now 2 hours late. Apparently a lorry crashed into a bridge. "Your honour, I was driving my lorry carefully along the road, keeping my eyes open, and well within the speed limit, when all of a sudden, without warning, a bridge jumped out right in front of me. I tried to swerve out of the way, but the bridge was too determined, and jumped back as I swerved away from it.
Scratch that feeling better. John is still in the hospital. It turns out that they can't submit to the insurance company for approval over the weekend so they did it this morning and it takes at least twenty four hours. So it should be tomorrow or at least i hope so.
What a ridiculous waste of time, and resources.
Exactly Cherry. It is costing them more keeping him there.

Tired this morning. SO accidently took the wrong tablets last thing last night and on looking at the instruction sheet saw that if taking an overdose seek medical help / go to A & E immediately. It didn't seem a big thing and luckily ended up being a storm in a teacup due to the time factor and low doeseage but best to be safe. It ended up in settling late though. The call to '111' did give access to the right advice

Oh wow thats scary. Good that you got professional advice...
Ive made an appointment for my gp, my joints are worse than ever . Last night I woke up in so much pain I couldn't even turn over. My right foot is swollen and is throbbing.and even when OH tried to be nice and hold my hand I had to tell him to stop because it hurt so much...

They also make more money keeping him there. This is why insurance cost is high, they must be gouged by doctors, hospitals..
I did hear that a lot of hospitals keep them there long enough before they release them so they can charge an extra day. You really have to love it... Not...

I hope you will find a solution for this problem. It sounds very unpleasant.

That, of course, puts costs up for everyone.
It does and it's so wrong. No one seems to care which makes it even worse.
