This year, I experienced a bit more than the usual weakness, then chills, then mild temperature.
Sunday, I awoke with a backache, the bicep in both arms were hurting, and the injection site was painful, red and swollen. I started experiencing chills as well. Later in the day, my leg muscles started to ache as well. In the evening, my eyeballs started feeling hot, so I took my temperature. It was 100.8°.
My eyes were still feeling a bit warm when I went to bed. This morning, aside from injection site discomfort, I was right as rain.
I did get ill after my COVID-19 vaccination a few years ago. Actually, I've received an email requesting I have another COVID-19 jab in a few weeks time.
I am going to book it in the next few days: I am fully prepared to be ill afterwards and might book time off work.
Why not book it for the day after you work and then you would be Ok for work the week after?
There's a really good sci fi fiction book about eclipses: Nightfall by Robert Silverberg and Isaac Asimov, is well worth a read.
Yes, they are! After experiencing two total eclipses and an annular eclipse, I think I can officially call myself an eclipse chaser. I need to talk hubby into going to see the one in 2026.
Still nervous. I can feel my blood pressure go up every time and update of the storm comes up. That is every 6 hours with the next one being in half an hour.
Has your house ever got damaged from any of these storms or hurrricanes?
No we have been lucky. There has been a few hours near me that have but to a minor extent. Most of the issues we have had are with downed branches and trees out back.

I hope you will be fine Karen, we decided to move our FL trip to the end of October.

Thank you Annie. I think that might be a good idea just in case. These storms can be unpredictable.
