sunglasses
reading glasses
cigarettes (a new pack, and an open pack)
lighter (two, in case one breaks)
nicotine patch
nicotine inhaler
pepper spray
nail file
nail clippers
keys
pocket tissues
USB stick
roll-up ballerinas (for the rare occasion, when I'm wearing heels)
pantyhose (also for the rare occasion, when I'm wearing pantyhose)
P-mates

Depends on which one.. I have a small bag that I use the very most, and I just put in my credit card, license (depending on where I'm going) and my phone.. and a hair scrunchie... There's a small compartment for pepper spray, too. I also have a small light and knife attached. It's my walking bag lol

Well to avoid confusion us europeans call it a handbag, a purse is the small thing you keep money /cards /change in..

So handbags.. I have winter and summer ones plus evening ones ( even though I rarely go anywhere) The evening one is boring its got enough room for a couple of tissues, a comb, my money purse and my car keys.

Normal everyday one has side pocket with small pad and mini pen plus tokens for shopping carts. second side pocket with kit.... Kit has a comb an individual moist towel ( such as you get on planes,) dry tissues, a couple of band aids, a flat disc tub of hand cream, nail file.

Main space has phone, car keys , keys to the houses of my old people ( I look after them)money purse, pack of tissues , special wipe to clean my glasses, lip balm and dextrose.

Camera bag has side pocket 1, phone and keys, side pocket 2 fishing knife, tissues , lens cleaners dextrose, hand cleaner. Main body has camera , lens ball and lens ball stand, cleaning cloth, spare fully charged battery and spare SD card.

Dog bag.. Side pocket with tissues , hand cleanser, dextrose. Main body of bag has poop bags and small insert bag full of dog treats. ( phone when Im using it. and keys)

I have to say this: I am completely in love with handbags and bags in general.

I am buying a duffle bag in a few weeks time, as I am planning on making a few trips this year. My friend says I should get a suitcase but I would much rather have a duffle bag.

Anyhow, a great thread! We women DO put a lot of stuff in our handbags. But we need to: for obvious reasons.

It's not so much matching with my shoes but do have different bags dependant on what I am wearing or where I am going. I like to keep things tidy and minimise what I carry but do uually have good quality as they are stronger and less likely to fail embarrasingly.

I think a quality bag is important. They are made much better and will last forever. My favorite is Coach. I know I have at least 20 of them. The only thing I have more of is my shoes.

I guess I have never really done that... I alternate between the same two bags no matter what I'm wearing... one is fancier, so it just depends on where I'm going more than what I'm wearing. I have always been a bit odd and would wear things that don't match, though..
