I had a little look as, although I am aware of it, I didn't know the details. From the symptoms pain seems to be high up. I get little aches like everyone but no particular issues there as far as I am aware.
The part about stress seems possible but only in a minor way. I'll slow my pace a little, and hopefully get out for longer walks. They work wonders.
I have fibromyalgia and I can honestly say that the pain differs from day to day hour to hour sometimes. Today I can honestly say I feel brilliant and I haven't got pain anywhere but by tomorrow I could be limping around like Quasimodo.
I do know that stress affects it badly so if I'm stressed I seem to tense up and that causes a lot of aches and pains.
It was one of those odd times when something clicks into place last night, as I lay in bed before sleep. Over the years I have always been confused as to converting dec C to deg F and vice versa. It's a simple formula but I have always got it muddled. It often happens with me with maths. I suddenly had complete clarity and it all fell into place.
For reference - Deg C to F - Multiply Deg C x 9, then divide by 5, then add 32.
the reverse - Deg F to C - Subtract 32 from Deg F, then multiply by 5, then divide by 9.
I think that the confusion was with the plus or minus 32 but, taking the simple case of 0 deg C, it has to be plus 32 (after all 0 x 9 / 5 = 0). The multiplying factor must be 9 / 5 for C to F too as F has the higher figure and larger range so the factor must be greater than one.
A simple thing but very muddling. The brain, or at least mine, works in mysterious ways.

jen, I only remember one formula F= 1.8C +32 (or 9/5C +32) and then I use transposition when C is unknown (converting Fahrenheit to Celsius). Much easier for my average math brain.

Nicely put. Thank you
I think my confusion was because the people who have tried to explain in the past were not mathematically inclined and were actually trying to explain in a simple way, which was just confusing. I get led along with such explanations rather than just looking at the facts / figures. Looking back at my approach I have (almost) got to a mathematical proof though and have it really clear in my head now.

I get you. It is much simpler to understand and to play with the equations if one knows the LOGIC of the formula.
I was actually good at maths, but took my time getting to grips with each area when it was first taught.
Arithmetic, came more naturally to me.
I can vary between very good and fairly poor, even on the same topic at different times. I am very slow at arithmetic. I remember doing a test which was something like 60 questions in 5 or 10 minutes for entry to a course and had to retake it as I was too slow. In comparison I found the course easy and passed without any problem. Some abstract ideas in maths I find easy. Some not so but, in college, I found the maths a useful tool and, for technical subjects, can be a short cut to understanding. In essence, maths is everywhere so it's useful to know. One of my maths tutors had a saying - "If it moves it's subject to differential equations. If it doesn't it's an ornement". One of those sayings I seem to readily remember
