A busy morning for me. I planted some kale seeds in my propogator. Next it was back into the house to clear out some old junk. Things I have not needed for several years (and will now need tomorrow ). I got a bin bag full. I needed some space as I was tripping over things and among the art things I ordered was a box of canvases, different to those I current have. Yet another box to find space for

I've had my heavenly daily shower. This includes washing my hair and using a luxurious coconut hair conditioner. My hair feels like it does in the adverts!

I spent the afternoon in the kitchen: I prepared my sister's work salad and did all the prep work for dinner, which my dad did. Having two people do the work in the kitchen does help.
My husband has an all-day work meeting today so I can concentrate on the house hunting again. I found some houses that we can go see next month during the xmas break. The housing market in Cary/Raleigh area seems to be slow moving so I hope that they will still be there in mid to last week of December.

I baked this morning, then we tuned into coverage of the Remembrance Day ceremony in Ottawa. (We alternate between Ottawa and Vancouver, so maybe Vancouver next year, but I'll remember to check who the nation's Silver Cross Mother is online because that's always mentioned in the national broadcast. I found the list of past recipients and that's fascinating as well.)
It's not a happy holiday, but I'm still taking it easy because it's a holiday. No school, and I'm putting off laundry and major kitchen cleanup as well. I posted briefly on Facebook (which I've been avoiding so far this school year, and I'm sure the time spent elsewhere is healthier!) and I included photos of my great-uncle Stanley who served and died in WWII, plus my great-aunt Vicki who served here in Canada in the same war. (I just learned that this summer while taking time for genealogy research. Even my dad, her nephew, hadn't seen her in uniform!)
