I had my first COVID-19 jab yesterday. I woke up feeling like hell. I have a temperature, I have a headache and I feel dizzy. I struggled to shower and am struggling to do normal things. I have managed to sort my apartment, laundry-wise, though. But I still feel sick. I lay there from 6:30am, struggling to sleep.
I didn't expect this reaction from the jab. I am still having the second jab, but I have a lot of sympathy for those who suffered COVID-19.
Sorry to hear you feel so sick. I had absolutely no symptoms of anything after my first jab although I have heard that some people react more strongly to the second. Just out of interest which one did you have? I had Pfizer.

Paula, you should take a pill, go to sleep, try to sleep as much as you can in the next 36 hours. You will get up like new again.

Thank you, alsr.
I do very much want to not do anything physical. I know I am on the computer early today, but I feel restless. I WILL rest today, though. Oh: I had the AstraZenica jab. And I am not looking forward to the next one. BUT I am absolutely having that second jab. This COVID-19 is nasty: I have a great deal of sympathy for all with it.

I feel sick again: I have a headache and slight temperature. I feel nauseous, too. I really feel sick. I started to feel ill yesterday afternoon. It is something I can't shake off. I also did not sleep well: I got up so early, I was that restless.

I have felt better.
I went to the supermarket today. I felt fine. I also wandered to the library: felt fine. I had a nap at around 3pm and woke up near 5pm. I felt much, much better after that nap. Because I had been fairly busy today, just getting things done.
Anyhow, one minute I've a headache, the next I'm fairly fine. It's annoying. At least there is such a medication as paracetemol.
I do sympathise I suffer from artrose and fibromyalgia. today out of nowhere it felt as if Id broken a rib, the pain in my side was excruciating and like you I think it won't last forever. Which helps me get through.
I'm glad you now feel well enough to do your shopping and go to the library.. But please take it easy and don't overdo things.

Spelling medicine names is not always easy, is it?
Not at all. I love it when they ask you to write down all your prescriptions at the doctor's office. I can imagine the spelling errors that they must see.

Luckily they have forms that you can carry about here. I would imagine word prediction on a phone would make an almighty mess of some of them.
Our doctor and our dispensing chemist are linked, here you choose a dispensing chemist close to your home and that's the chemist that you get all your prescriptions from, that way they know your history and they know what you normally take if there's a change in your medication they will call you to one side and actually discuss it with you before handing over the medication. I really like that it's like a double check to make sure you get the correct prescription.

And I still feel vaguely sick. It isn't me feeling sick-sick: I just have a headache and feel pressure in my skull. I also feel slightly nauseous. My eyes hurt, too. My tummy also feels a little off.
I may have a slight bug, but nothing to write home about. It's just my head that really hurts. But I shall shortly take a paracetamol. I certainly don't need hospital treatment!

They are linked here too although I don't think there is any issue with taking a precription eleswhere but most people don't as far as I know. In the city things may work differently though. It has happened that people do sometimes get the wrong prescripion though.

Thank you, ladyj.
Being ill sucks. I always walk around feeling vaguely ill and wishing I were lying on the sofa, sleeping. I would love to lie-in in the morning, too. But it's not going to happen. My days of laying in are over.
I take the odd paracetamol: but that's about it. I have lots of fresh air and I eat a fair amount of food to keep my energy levels up.

I feel ill again today: I have a headache and feel nauseous. I also feel slightly dizzy and tired. Also, I had trouble sleeping last night, because of the heat.
I shall shortly open my windows and run my two fans. I really feel sick.
