I had a fairly long lie-in. I am now on the computer. I have put on a load of laundry and am airing out my apartment. I have also drunk my caffetterie coffee. I am browsing the Internet, which I do virtually every morning.
I took one Sunday a couple of weeks ago completely off and didn't really do anything, just watched a bunch of youtube, read a bit, etc. And I didn't really like it all that much. I realized I prefer being more active and doing something more useful with my time. Was pretty happy when Monday arrived and I actually had stuff to do. I guess I'm going to do a few chores and focus on my hobbies on weekends and reserve evenings for watching movies and pedicures and other self-care stuff.
honestly I don't treat sundays any diffrent to other days
growing up as a child, it was one thing I hated: that on sundays things were slower and people took more time to relax.
lay ins are something I refuse to do (it just wastes the day), and I don't like to slow down either.
today I was dressed, breakfast eaten, all by 8 15 in the morning- and that's the same no matter what the day is. I'm usually up at stupid o clock anyway (usually 4 or 5)
the only thing I might do diffrently on a sunday is go to church, but I've not been able to because of the pandemic
today I have no where to be, or nothing that needs doing, yet I like to be ready anyway. it's just me

Like every day, I had my shower. I am wearing my vintage dress today: it is gorgeous. I have put on a load of laundry and am airing out my apartment. I have been browsing the Internet, which I do daily anyway.
I've been on Ello.com: it is like Instagram, except it isn't commercialized. The artwork and photos are more vintage. It isn't a well known website, but it IS popular. I have 1.8 pins on Ello. I found Ello when searching on Google for similar websites to Facebook. I soon realized no website can replace Facebook. And I mean that seriously. I've tried looking, but nothing compares.
Back to my Sunday: I am going over to my sister's house for lunch and dinner today. I certainly keep busy!
I did some work... took my meds... and now I'm here! Just relaxing. I didn't even eat breakfast yet, so I must get to that lol I will likely water the plants today... and not sure what else I'll get into, but nothing stressful!
Our Sunday morning was pretty much our usual routine. The boys have videos that originally come from Think Orange, an organisation that creates church videos that are quite fun and creative in their way of teaching. The church that we view them from adds some of their own content and it's not quite up to the same level, but it can be good too. Anyway, my boys really enjoy themselves and we get to discuss a little together as well.
After that, we have a snack and then exercise. There are usually lots of wiggles to work out by then. I only deal with the hyperactivity for a little while longer, though, because they spend most Sunday afternoons with their dad, allowing me to relax on my own!

I have made myself my regular caffetterie coffee. I have put on a load of laundry and am airing out my apartment. I have been on Facebook and am just browsing the Internet in general. I am also waiting for a delivery.
I will be helping my sister cook dinner at my dad's house today: we are making roast chicken with all the trimmings. It'll be a lovely meal.

Anyhow, enjoy your Sunday.
I hope your chicken was tasty?
It's shopping done, lunch over and now thinking about my coffee whilst browsing the Internet. A good reminder to put the kettle on lol

And the roast dinner went extremely well!
We had roast chicken with brocolli, carrots and spinach. We had bread sauce and gravy, too. I definitely enjoyed my Sunday dinner! We ate mini cheesecakes for dessert, which were lovely. I do have a terrible sweet tooth.
Sunday went very well! We started in the kitchen at around 2pm and didn't finish until 5:30pm. But I am glad I took the time and effort to help out. I could not have left it all to my sister.
I am still looking Karen, maybe something like these.
Those are nice Annie. You must have a large living room for those.
I am still looking for some more, Karen. It's a good size but not huge. I like that shape because everyone can face the fireplace.. My next house is just right, not like the one I am living in now. Every space will be usable.
So comfortable, and easy to move around for whatever we're doing in our living room. Who needs to sit on chairs or couches while they've got rambunctious boys?

I'm glad it all went well. I think your timing is too long winded for me. Admittedly I only cook a small joint or chicken these days and eat most very al dente but if it takes more than an hour I don't even start. It's one thing in which I like to be very organised with and have mostly even washed most of the pots before the meal is served. My timing tends to be very accurate too. That said, if you are including eating the meal, I am very leisurely with this. Meals like at Christmas can take up to a couple of hours lol

I have had my daily shower. I have put on a load of laundry, too. I have opened the windows, just to let air in. I do like my apartment to have a lot of fresh air circulating.
I am browsing the Internet. I always do, anyway! I simply could not live without my computer and definitely need the Internet. Years ago I used my computer for fun: now it is an necessity. I just hope this is always so.

Ive had my few days of luxury riding around in the car without the dogs and all their blankets and such in the back but today that changes we have put the new hammock thing in and are cleaning out the old car ready for sale.
