I’m getting frustrated. My plaster is taking a long time to dry and it’s been days since I put the first coat. I know it’s because of the cold weather but I’m hoping for a little consideration here, Nature.
On my social media this morning someone is begging for help and shes set up a gofundme account. She has 7 cats, barely enough money to get by on and now there is an outbreak of feline distemper in her area ...one of her cats is already infected and the others are showing signs. She's now wailing that she cannot afford the treatment and she's begging everyone to help her but the fact is there's a vaccine for this and she didn't get her cats vaccinated...
I know this sounds harsh but no . I will not donate to her negligence. If she truly loves her cats she would have had them vaccinated and protected against these kinds of diseases before it happened. I have dogs and we take all necessary precautions even though it costs a lot of money that (in my opinion) is your first duty as a pet owner if you can't afford to look after them you shouldn't have pets.
(I do realise there are exceptions but in general day-to-day things like vaccinations)

Some people seem to think that everyone is there to help them and they are not able to reciprocate.
I could tear my hair out at some of those cat people though who seem to think that cats don't need looking after. It happens far less with dog owners.

I'm a cat person, having them my whole life. In fact I have two now and that are my little loves. They have my total attention. I wouldn't want anything to happen to them.

Would a dehumidifier help?
I don't have a dehumidifier. It's okay. Spring here now and the cold snap has passed. What annoys me now is having to do another plastering job. I was about to begin my painting. Lo and behold, some dents and old paint flaking on the wall at the dining area. Tsk, tsk,

when you try to log in to a forum, and even though you've entered the right information, it doesn't log you in
That IS a pain: I've had that and it annoys me no-end.
I tried with eBay: they said I couldn't log onto their website because I was outside the UK. That's BS: I live in the Midlands in Britain. Why would they think I lived outside the UK?
When my step daughter comes, she and the so always shout at each other. Not arguing, just ordinary communication.
I hate that sort of thing too. I have sensitive ears and it really irritates me. That's why I don't generally watch a lot of these modern shouty dramas and soaps on TV.

OH will shout from upstairs or the garage rater than come and find me.. I walk to him and explain I do not engage in shouted conversations...
when you have a whole room of people singing rock of ages and you don't have a clue about the words
I never heard that in school. Catholics don't do that song, though I have no idea why not.
The one I strongly remember in school is 'All things bright and beautiful'. We had nothing modern. I get confused between early school songs and those I heard elsewhere now. I think some, like 'Camptown Races' may be a little risque' now but we had this and others like 'Oh Susanna' as well.

I went to a C of E primary school, but I think it is perhaps a pretty methodist type of song so would be well sung around here. C of E was far more starchy but probably not as much as the Catholics.
