if you had a chance to go to the moon

I would love to travel in to space

apart from the fear of flying and heights (which will be an issue), I think I would enjoy a visit to space.

I probably wouldn't want to go into space unless Earth was going to be destroyed.

I wouldn't go even if it was destroyed. It's my home, I'm not running away just because people screwed it up and think it's okay to move on to the next planet to destroy.

You would stay if it meant you were going to die? I'm only fleeing if the Earth is inhabitable lol can't get me on a spaceship otherwise!

Yes! I applied to be part of the DearMoon project. Not sure if they know what they're doing for landing back on Earth, but I figured why not apply?

It's an interesting thing. I would like to go into space but I think the space station would be more interesting at the moment. The thing about going further is that it would be a long (days?) boring flight cramped up in a small capsule. Being on the moon may be something like being in death valley or the sahara desert but less interesting. A lump of rock - You get the picture? Into space is probably no worse than an aeroplane but would give bigger experiences. The long fall is a bit irrelevant to me as a fall from say 50 ft can be lethal so umpteen thousand is not any worse. Most flights are perhaps by Russian facillities these days so landings are usually on land. It is somewhat irrelevant though as the sea is as hard as land when you come from a great height.

I would LOVE to go into space, the moon, the space station, Mars... Sign me up baby!!!

I'd like to think I'd go but confined space is a problem.

Most marine life in on the continental shelves and not in deep water. Likely a wasted trip.

There is a fear of claustrophobia in a spaceship: you can't just pop outside for some air. You're surviving on oxygen within that spaceship, which frightens a lot of people. Plus, the spaceship would have to dock at the NASA space station. From there, the passengers would be transferred to a different spaceship.

There is so much criteria about going into even just earth's orbit. If you're scared of flying, I would not allow you to go into space.

There has to be zero fear in zero gravity.

There is a really good series about moon travel called 'For All Mankind". It goes back to the sixties moonshots. It's an interesting mix of fact and fiction.

I have just finished season 2 and season 3 is due soon.
