We have been spending the evening listening to the music we compiled on Spotify. But tomorrow will be dedicated to the play off. I think the final will be the CHief and the Rams.
We are doing the same thing tomorrow. I'm rooting for the Bengals and the 49ers but I think it will be the Chiefs and Rams.

I watched the latest episode of All Creatures Great & Small (Season 2) last night from PBS. Still enjoying it, but I'm not sure if I want it to follow the books closely or not... Anyway, I like watching Samuel West each episode!

I've got all the books and they are very funny.
I've not read the books. We have the full DVD set which came was a Christmas present a few years back now. I watch them occasionally although, for some reason, not one of my favourites.
The new All Creatures... series is the one I've been watching. My mum likes the old series.
Catching up on the Boba Fett series tonight. It's okay. At least I'll be in the know now, plus I'll be ready for the next season of The Mandalorian since there's a bunch of crossover action happening.
What I'm more excited about is how much Star Trek there is going to be this year - Paramount+ wants to stop people from just dropping the service when their show is over, so they're going to run one after another all year long. It's a good time to be a Star Trek fan!
{Spoiler Alert!}The ending was a little upsetting this close after having to euthanize our pet, as the heartbeat slows down and vanishes of the person.
I would love to watch some new Star Trek but how many streaming sites can you join? It seems there are new ones popping up every month.
Totally get that, as it's something I've seen coming for a long time - how much streaming can people afford? You might need to catch the show when it comes out to own, and then you'll get all the special features too! (I love those!)
I can get Star Trek and Doctor Who on a sci-fi channel from one of our Canadian networks. I just pay a bit extra per month to add that channel to my cable provider's basic package. Now that additional fee will be better spent if there's always Star Trek to watch!

It seems out of control. Everyone is jumping inn the bandwagon and starting new streaming services.

I watched the film "Promising Young Woman" on YouTube today: it was BRILLIANT. It has adult material but it isn't shocking and doesn't have graphic imagery.
The storyline was sometimes fun and yet dark. It was about revenge basically, but you actually end up having sympathy and understanding why Cassie wanted revenge. But it is not all doom and gloom: its colours and its film scenes are often fun and vibrant. It is set in the nightlife and the neon lights really make the film pop. The director really knew his/her stuff. Plus, the music is excellent and fits the scenes. Again, there are fun parts of the film.
You'd have to watch it to see what I mean, but it is really worth a watch. It was released in 2020, so isn't too old a film.
I thought of Saving Hope when I saw Raising Hope. Here's the IMDB page: www.imdb.com/title/tt1954804/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_10 I think it was filmed in Canada, and it was quite good for a plotline. Don't remember if I saw it all the way to the end of the series... I'll have to check for some spoilers about it.
I'm keeping up with Olympic coverage for now, but might have to take some breaks and prioritise some sports over others. I wanna just take it all in!
I watched a Spanish, rom-com film called "Through My Window". I liked it much more than I expected I would. Lovely cast and well acted but for the younger crowd.

It has some very strange things in it... maybe more for pot heads lol some are funny, though.
We started on Murderville last night as well.. one episode in. Silly fun. It's one of those over-the-top stupid-funny shows. I think it's based on a show from the UK with the same concept?? The guest actors have no scripts... lol

My bestie - Vicky - dreams of going to Benidorm. She'd also love to live in Australia. It's such a shame, because having money would mean she would be able to do so. And we all should be able to follow our dreams.

Just to change the subject: I have just watched the "Hotel Transylvania" animation film on YouTube. It was hilarious! It is cool and quirky and just plain funny. I will definitely watch the sequels. I also love the "How To Train Your Dragon" films. Utterly brilliant.
