We are building our new PCs this weekend! Woohoo! We actually bought white cases (they were on sale by a lot, so worth it).. they look very modern. Can't wait to play my games with everything upgraded.. I'll be able to max out my settings

Ive counted my available jam jars and I have enough for a batch of rhubarb and vanilla jam ....

I respect anyone who respects their jam jars.

My mum used to make pans of it every year, usually strawberry.

Other than that her jam pan was busy turning out tablet for The Save the Children fund charity.

Strawberry rhubarb blueberry and gooseberry as well as kiwi ..Then theres the chutneys and jellys grape jelly from our own grapes and this year from our little crop of apples I made apple date and pecan chutney.. Of course at this time of year I have sultanas that have been soaked in rum ready for cakes and jars of mincemeat for the mincepies taking up shelf space...

Reminds me... I was trying to help a lady whose diabetes was out of control. She always followed her diet, and never touched sugar, and the only sweetener she ever used was raspberry jam.

What was particularly funny was that it was she who had made the jam.

I had a friend like that. I forget what it was she made, but she loved making it. It was all given away though, as she had eaten it too often, and had gone off it.

Going to make coffee and breakfast. Going to do some cleaning maybe, will start in the kitchen if so. I will do some work to not get behind. Then play video games here and there. I already have my dinner ready because I cooked it last night instead, so one less thing to do today.

I had groceries delivered. I'm beginning to get frustrated with the Instacart shoppers. They're screwing up my deliveries. They're not paying attention to what I order. I can't connect with them via text cuz of something on the Instacart side of it. Today I checked the "no substitutions" box and he still substituted. Two items were out of stock (no problem with that) and one he didn't even get at all. I think I'm gonna go back to doing the curbside pickup unless the weather is bad. I would just like to be able to safely go to the store and do my own shopping again.

Other than that I've basically been a slug today. I did a few dishes and I just woke from a 1 hr 15 min nap.

Plan to play video games too.
