Evening.

No matter how you look at whats going on or who the people are underneath it all comes down to one thing, and the basic detail was not about colour, it was and is about ...control...

my background and my grand Mother,s was still the same detail . and did not matter where we lived , some one got a bee under their bonnet , and they wonted to control us and my people .

not many countrys were not under fire at some stage, problem now is this earth can not contain this amount of people and have a peacefull life there,s an agrassive mind set and this is what is controling people enmass yet who is under pinning it who is the driving force,is very few, yet do we know who they are, and can we take them down .

We need to see the underlying issue and then get the people to work out their game plan and stop them , though knowing what i know it wont happen they are well hidden yet all we see is their minions working for ...THE... them.

Yes i know there,s a lot more and goes back. 1000.s of years .

How do you change peoples attitude,s what will it take is the ?....

Lots of bad things have happened throughout history. Perhaps slavery was the worst in that it pervaded most cultures. But other things have happened too.

During WWII Japanese living within America's borders were interred. And millions of Jews were enslaved and worse, burned in ovens.

Some historian might try explaining exactly why these two events haven't caused the same anti-civilization dysfunctional behavior we are seeing today with neither the Japanese or Jewish peoples.

Ignoring this ugly question isn't helping anybody.

The japanese want to forget the whole event, and the holocaust is continuing to give people food for thought, and besides that, the western jews appear to prefer to remain under the radar by and large

Seems more and more people are coming to my conclusion traditional policing won't work when segments of the population view police as inherently evil and disavows western values.

I think France has "no-go" zones. Perhaps this is a model for some American urban areas. I'm not sure what France allows, but I assume the citizens within these no-go zones would have to protect and allow firefighters access, that is, if they want such municipal service. Such no-go zones would have to realize the likelihood businesses might be reluctant to re-build in these areas. Live and learn as they say.

To quote Mr Trump.. this is fake news.

As with many countries there are areas in larger cities where a minority group or people from backgrounds other than that of the host country tend to group but they are not 'no go' zones where French law doesnt apply or cannot be applied and policed.

Please note that many times these areas have not been chosen or created by the people themselves but like some areas in the UK where migrants collected in port areas because of work or upon entering the country they could only find work in particular jobs such as the sweat shop sewing factories along the north circular in London and those places became home. In other areas it was because they could not afford to live in wealthier neighbourhoods and so tended to keep to the less well off areas of town.

None of this makes them no go areas.

Yep... I hardly tell anyone I am Jewish. I don't feel safe having everyone know. I am lucky that I do not have a Jewish sounding last name... nobody would ever know unless I tell them. I can just blend in. You'd be surprised how many people don't like Jewish people. How many people who don't believe in the Holocaust....

So... I can understand the plight of those who cannot hide who they are because it shows on their skin or in their features... and people wish them harm just for existing. I am not going to ignore their cries.

I hope society becomes more loving and accepting. There is too much hatred in this world! A stereotype is sometimes all it takes to turn us against each other, and there could be zero truth to it.

It does sound far fetched.

Far fetched, an exaggeration, a myth call it what you will.

I think the actual question is why would any country want to continue to push this untruth even after its been shown to be false time after time?

I think the answer is simple, its an excuse most of us used as children. If we were caught doing something naughty and our parents called us out on it we would point to a sibling or friend and say 'but he did it too' as if this excused our crime.

If the US powers that be can point at Europe and claim that non intervention has caused Musilm and other minority groups to take over whole cities, implement their own laws and claim that government controled policing has no authority in those areas it makes it easier to push the systemic rascist practices that are so deeply entrenched in their established institutions such as law enforcement.

It is basically a form of propoganda using fear to control their own people.

Not a thing anyone wants to hear but the driving force is to install fear of what might happen if people upset the staus quo.

OK I'll bite. So, I am to believe America is systemically racist. Racism is integral to American government and culture. OK, if so its bad. And count me in to help change or remove any law or policy that is racist. If racism is so systemic, such laws and policies must truly be obvious. Let's get specific.

What systemic, integral racist law goes first? Name it.

My guess is this all is a bit like ghost hunting. We may all believe in the supernatural, but its the specific evidence that's needed to prove ghosts exist.

Tearing down monuments, I find this annoying and worse.

Recently its been observed that Nancy Pelosi's father erected statues to both confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.

Nancy has probably walked past these statues as they gather dust for years. But in only the past few days, she apparently has become enlightened. Now she says they need purging.

Should Nancy purge her family picture albums too? If not, why not?

The great exclusive liberal university Yale was founded by Elihu Yale a slave trader. Shouldn't Yale University at least change its name...say George Floyd U?

Hey, what about the Democrat Party itself. This Party founded the KKK, that can't be good. Let's get rid of it along with the Confederate statues it helped to erect. The famous late Senator from my State of West Virginia and former Grand Cyclops in the KKK Robert C. Byrd has his name attached to many buildings, roads and monuments in WV. Gotta go yes?

the figures are there they speak for themselves they have been well published and if you look you can find them you can read them for yourself.
the problem with this kind of racism is that it isn't there in black and white and you know that very well it is the ingrained attitude and practice, the slight twist on interpretations of laws that make them racist not actually writing down thou shall arrest only black people.

On the question of providing proof can I come back to your previous post where is that proof of the no go zones in France which source did you actually read that from? I'm still interested to know.

Frankly I think it is time that we stopped putting any individual or military figures up in public spaces. Put their image into an appropriate museum paid for by their own supporters not tax payers money but understand that any image displayed should have a full explaination of who they were not just the good bits..

As for the military, the only good soldier is one from the winning side..Think about it, how many SS officers have stautes telling the world how brave they were? How many Japanese? Bomber command who were responsible for the deaths of around 25,000 people in Dresden are honoured with a statue, there is no such statue to the Luftwaffe squadron who bombed Coventry where less than 1,000 people perished. Why not?

All things being equal were not both teams of men as brave as daring and as patriotic?

There is no such thing as fair or enlightened when it comes to history.

I discovered that during my school exams, one of our history papers was to construct a diary and letter home from a soldier in the field. I chose a German soldier stationed in France writing to his parents who lived on the outskirts of Dresden .In the letter I wrote his fears that his family might have been hurt and begging them to reply soon that he might be assured they were safe.

My tutor came to me and handed me back my work saying she wouldnt submit it to the exam board , when I asked her what was wrong she told me . My dear the men on the exam board are all old duffers, they fought in the war and to them the only good German is a dead one. Change the name and the nationality make it Coventry or London you will pass with flying colours but if I submit this you will fail .. Oh and this was in the 1980's not the 1950's

Reluctantly I changed it I passed but it wasnt a pass I ever rejoiced in.

I dont think we should clean history, we cant , and we cant expunge these events or people but we can stop putting them on pedestals as persons of virtue when clearly they are not, lets make them human again warts and all.. Lets teach real history and not just the version that suits us.

Sometimes it's not just the laws we have... it's also about sitting idly by and doing nothing to create more equality. For example, if we see certain groups of people are disproportionately making less money on average, then why do we do nothing to address this? People cannot move up in society when we have our foot on their back whether intentionally or not. There is clearly an issue. People are racially profiled and discriminated against still. It's nothing new; it's just most people try to act like it doesn't exist anymore.

Gerrymandering is still being done to this day, and it still seems to affect areas with greater minority populations. Not to mention polling stations being shut down in areas with larger minority populations, too. Not wanting them to have a voice or trying to reduce their chance of voting is an example of the sneaky racism we have going on behind the scenes. Voter suppression is usually targeted.... and it's toward minorities. And no, I'm not talking about people who are not citizens and cannot legally vote.. I am talking about our fellow Americans who can legally vote.

The problem is not the laws. The problem is in how people use them.

For instance if you choose to stop and search ten times more caucasians, than afro americans, how do you think the stats will work out?

I lost her because I could not let her poison my world..
I offered her a life line, I said you dont really believe that do you? She said yep except the N word I do..

I had no option I cut her free and let her drift away into that sea of ignorence and hatered.. I hope one day she returns enlightened and full of peace.

I was sent an extremely racist joke the other day by a "good Christian." People really do not see the prejudice in themselves and then they don't see it in others either because it's all "harmless" in their mind. These stereotypes that people share and spread around can keep people down...

Hey, if you want to solve any problem, you sure as heck have to get at the specific causes. To solve a problem that is said to be huge and omnipresent but hard to locate seems a bit strange and eerie.

According to the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade database about 12.5-million blacks were shipped to North, South Americas and the Caribbean between 1525 and 1866. The number sent to NORTH AMERICA alone was a smaller portion, 443,000.

Historians estimate about 750,000 soldiers American and Confederate were killed in the Civil War, tens of thousands more wounded.

It is for God to decide whether 2 "American" deaths were enough an atonement for each slave. But if left to me, I'd say enough. Now let people account for their own souls, not America as a whole.

And that was just the start.. From birth to death the racial profiling goes on. in health care, education, employment, housing, you name it the racism is embedded in the system.

No one is saying the USA is alone but to say it isnt true well thats just plain head in the sand behaviour.

There are no racist laws in the uk, but blacks are ten times more likely to be stopped and searched, and three times more likely to be prosecuted for any crime.

All the best soccer players here are black. No blacks are on any of the soccer councils.

This is a racist country too.

My country too has a history of being involved in slavery, and there are signs of blatnent racsim around even today.
We have a marshamllow biscuit thing that until recently was called negerzoenen (literal translation negro kisses) and of course the celebration of SinterKlaas on 5 decemeber is not complete for many people without the figure of Zwarte Peter (black Peter) the image of which sends shivers of horror down most peoples spines but its tradition and without government backing its hard to get it banned or changed .

People say it isnt intended to be racist but obviously the black face actors are portraying a very stereotyped form of black slave type persona..

The point is the discussion is open and out there not hidden or denied.
