I'm seeing quite a few misplaced, lost or discarded masks on the ground. Potentially one more class of debris to get to the oceans I guess.
Anyway, Lt. Col. Dave Grossman (retired military ranger and expert in killing)had a recent article concerning masks.
Seems murderers are really quite rare considering modern day population sizes, 99.9% of people are thoroughly peaceful relative to murder. In warfare few troops actually target a single person, the sniper is the exception and is a bit odd.
According to Grossman, executioners typically operate from behind the victim and avoid face to face interaction. People hung or shot are hooded. Hard to kill a person I think once you have looked him in the eye. Even serial killers very often murder by assaults behind their victims.
Surprisingly, kidnapping victims are more likely to be murdered if blind-folded or hooded than when the kidnapper confronts visually his victim.
And of course, people are more verbally blunt on social media where they are anonymous than when talking face to face.
Grossman predicts greater violence in the future if mask usage remains in effect throughout society. His point is that masking reduces empathy between individuals and increases the likelihood of aggression. You have to talk louder when masked.
I'm no psychologist but it is interesting to ponder the humanization effects of facial concealment on child development.

Has he studied this in countries that already wear masks pretty regularly?
Either way, we have a pandemic to worry about. Instead of trying to find more reasons not to wear a mask, start looking up how/why masks help because there is way more science in support of masks than against it.
Some of the psychos are already showing who they are by assaulting or shooting people who try to enforce wearing a mask, so.... it seems the ones wearing the masks are already more sane and empathetic to begin with, so we can also assume they may be less likely to have this issue than the ones who refuse to wear a mask even.

Cherry be fair. I have provided evidence (recent examples); the "Navarro Report", the Great Barrington Declaration", even CDC references. I provided Lt. Col. Dave Grosssman's name, he and his books are easy to look up.
I admit I don't do links, that may be the problem.

The reason links are important, is so I can see precisely what you are referring to.
As a random example. I have just looked up the Navarro report. It is 36 pages long. Have you really read all of it, and do you really expect me to read all of it?
No, you have read interesting parts from it, and it is those that you are looking to debate, so how much easier would it be to use a link, then we can see precisely what you are quoting from.
