I have been taste testing... Doctors want my mum to eat high protein supplements. These are generally from one particular company and I hate to say it but they taste like thick wallpaper paste. But I know that local supermarkets and chains like Aldi and Lidl sell high protein yoghurt in various flavours. So I bought the couple of flavours I know my mum likes and I have tried them this week that way when I talk to her tomorrow I can give her an honest report and tell her exactly which ones to buy.

Most of my veggie foods come from those two shops.
The parsnip and mushroom pie I had today did. It was lovely.
I am making lasagna, but the noodles have lentils and rice. Higher protein. Thought I'd give that a try because we need extra protein now that we're exercising more. I am going to make my own tomato sauce and let it simmer for a few hours before putting everything together. I'm going to also use ground turkey instead of beef or sausage. Going to use a lot of ricotta and Italian cheeses to hopefully cover up the fact that it's a little different ;p Will see how it comes out!
I cooked the lasagna yesterday, which came out pretty good. I couldn't tell it was turkey meat or pasta that had lentils.. the other flavors really just take over (sauce, cheese, seasonings). The leftovers will last for many days, as it's HUGE, but I also have to cook chicken I recently bought because it says best by the 8th! I might chop it up and make lunches with it because dinner is covered.

I cooked up a pre-marinated chicken. It said Shawarma chicken, but I'm not sure if it's really going to be flavorful or not. I plan to make sandwiches with it... going to top it with some leftover tzatziki sauce and an arugula/spinach mix I have.
I bought a whole chicken, so I'm going to bake that now. It takes a couple hours. It's one in a bag, and it comes out really moist! That should give plenty of leftovers.
I have been feeling bloated lately, I took TUMS but that was just a temporary relief. I have not eaten anything unusual. I have to be careful with my eating for a few days.
