I am going to make some popcorn on the stove.. never done that before lol I usually buy stuff already popped and seasoned, so I hope it comes out okay.
I always make my own and its really easy and so much better. I use one of those hand held poppers with a crank on it.
Ooh.. I was looking into something to help me make popcorn more easily. I only have a pot lol it did come out okay, but some parts were burnt, even with me following all the instructions and shaking it. Something like that probably would be easier to use.

They are super easy Heather. I don't think I would make popcorn if I didn't have it.
I made pot roast last night. I added cherry balsamic to it, some brown sugar, and a rib rub... plus some of the more typical spices in it. It came out really good!
You got me curious over the spelling of that, as to is it one of the different usa spellings?
This is what I found on the net:
It's "Shepherd", as in the job. "Shepard" is often a spelling mistake when referring to the breeds, but it also a surname. Shepherd is the correct way. If you look at the last piece of the word (herd), that is essentially what they are/were bred for in the first place - to herd (sheep/cattle)
We had stew last night and tonight is a trial of the instant pot to make sweet and sour chicken..
Our resturants are still closed and our local takeway is so for our anniversary dinner Im planning an oriental feast of mini spring rolls , special fried rice, noodles, Chicken s&s , chicken in black bean sauce and beef rendang (spicy beef curry)..
The s& s is the only one Ive never done before hence the trial run.

We tend to call it shepherd's pie as it is lamb.
As usual I am wrong again in my spelling. At least I'm consistent...lol...

LOL I was wondering if it was credited in usa to a guy called shepard.
That's what they are called on the packages and in restaurants lol no matter what the ground meat is inside.
Do you have cottage pie at all?
Some people might use that interchangeably. There is no distinction from my experience, but I haven't been to every state to know what it's like across the whole US lol just what I see in the national grocery stores and such.

I can wait while you come up with a definitive answer.

I am on it! I will travel to each and every state during a pandemic just to find the answer to this
