Thank you for all the updates, heatherly! The menu icons at the top of the quick reply box are rather small for my eyes, but I don't use them often to format my posts, so I think it's all good.

Oh, I also added a plugin where there is a button on the bottom right that will scroll you to the bottom and top.

@marci I know you wanted something like that before lol

It's a small arrow all the way to the bottom right, beside the shoutbox.

It worked for me.

As did the thumb.

I have made this a sticky so we all get to try it.

I don't seem to be getting notified of the reactions, just the likes as usual. So, yeah, we will have to keep thumbing up plus the reaction for people to see the reactions.. lol that is the only part about it I don't like I guess. Just reacting shows up of course, but it is silly if nobody is made aware of them without looking at the posts.

I will have to do some research to see if there is any way for me to add our own notifications or not.

I am not keen on any anonymous goings on. I like the thumbs as you know it's a positive, and who did it.

I also like the lack of thumbs down. If people are down, then they should say so. Thumbs down is just lazy.

I got rid of it lol there was a button that said "Add reaction," and we were able to select a handful of smilies that would appear in the bottom right of the post.... it was to be similar to if we thumbs up a post but with images that might show a better reaction.... BUT.. we didn't get any notifications when someone reacted, and it didn't say who did the reacting... so we're just going to keep it to the thumbs up only.

Okay, I edited it to now to have a background color so it should always be visible on every theme, but it might not match everything lol.... Still in the bottom right. It will take you up or down depending on where you are.
