I agree and I think it will hurt race relations in this country. There are enough issues with the extreme right and this will just add more to the fire.

Quite right, the extreme right are extreme nothing can be said or done to make them change their mind.
It is the normally reasonable man who suddenly finds himself paying these claims who will be angry and his anger will most likely not be directed at those in charge who have made these decisions it will be at those who received payments or anyone who looks like one of them.
