We had the heating engineer to repair our hot water. We have only had use of the immersion for a couple of weeks, as the gas boiler was not having any effect.

Anyway, he got it fixed and and was certain, as there was now a good temperature on the exit pipe.

"If you came upstairs, I will give you a feel!"

My SO turned away to avoid him seeing her, I kept a straight face, but we are not sure if he realised what he had said.

I felt sorry for him, he was so much younger than us.........

I smiled today because I thought of Shell and her love of horses. After I graduated from college, I lived for 2 years in a barn apartment. I shared the barn with 2 beautiful horses that lived on the other side of the barn. After work, I would come back to my place and see both of them at the fence that enclosed their pasture.
When they saw me, they would come over to me because they knew that I had apples for them.

They were wonderful, but occasionally they would be rambunctious at night when I was trying to sleep. It only happened a few times, but when it did, I gave a few fist-pounds on my bedroom wall and told them to be quiet. They always did.

They didn't want to lose the apples! I love horses.
